Trust centre
The honest record.
Trust is earned by saying the uncomfortable parts out loud. Here is exactly where Huetura stands — what is real, what is not yet, and what you can hold us to.
The honest record
Corporate access no. 2026377891 — registered in Alberta (formerly Prestige Paints Inc.). GST-registered.
Huetura Inc. is a corporation registered in Alberta (formerly Prestige Paints Inc.). Owner-operated: Meisam Khodaei, a Calgary painter. When you hire Huetura, you always know exactly who is working in your home.
What we don't claim
We don't carry business liability insurance or WCB coverage yet — we say so here instead of hiding it.
Business liability insurance: none
Plainly, with no euphemism: Huetura currently has no business liability insurance. Not a little, not pending — none. If that changes, it will be stated here first.
WCB coverage: none
Stated as a fact: Huetura currently has no Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) coverage. If that changes, it will be stated here first.
Estimates you can inspect
The estimate on this site runs on the same pricing engine that writes your scope — and the How we charge page breaks that engine's numbers down in public, so you can check the math before anyone visits.
Written scope before work starts
Nothing starts until the scope is in writing: what is included, what is not, the fixed price, and the workmanship promise. The approved scope price stays fixed — it changes only if you approve a written change. GST is added on top.
Our process
Every project follows the same seven steps, in the same order. This is the Huetura Standard at work — the documented sequence behind every repaint, in plain language.
Floor protection
Drop cloths down, furniture covered or moved — nothing that isn't getting painted is left exposed.
Patching
Nail holes, dents and small cracks are filled and levelled. Paint shows everything, so the wall is repaired before the brush comes out.
Sanding
Patched areas and rough spots are sanded smooth and dusted clean — the base that makes the finish look professional.
Masking
Trim, windows, switches and outlets are taped and masked. Clean lines are planned, not luck.
Cutting in
Edges and corners are cut in by hand, brush to the line — the part no roller can do.
Rolling
Two finish coats, rolled evenly over the prepared surface — the right product for the room.
Cleanup
Tape off, covers folded, floors checked, furniture back in place. You come home to painted rooms, not a job site.
I paint room by room — you never live in a construction zone.
I move the big furniture — heavy things are my problem, not yours.
Two finish coats over a prepared surface
Our standard repaint system is two finish coats over a properly prepared surface — washed, patched and primed first — unless the written coating specification for your project calls for something different. Edges are cut in by hand.
Prep is where the job lives
Wash, fill, sand, caulk, prime. Most of the labour on a repaint lives here — and this is where rushed jobs cut corners.
The final walkthrough
We walk every wall with you in daylight and fix anything you spot on the spot.
After the paint dries
If something we painted fails because of our workmanship, we come back and make it right. That's the whole promise — written into your scope before we start, in plain language.
Aftercare
We come back and make right what is genuinely our fault — workmanship failures like peeling or loss of adhesion on a surface we prepared and painted. It does not cover substrate failure, water damage, damage after handover, normal wear, or colour choice. The full promise — what is covered, what is not, and how a claim works — lives on the warranty page. The warranty duration is not decided yet: the exact promise is written into each job's scope before work starts.
