Your details stay yours.

When you use the estimate form we collect your name, email address, phone number, how you'd like to be contacted, and whatever you tell us about the job — the rooms or areas involved, your answers to the estimate questions, and any preferred visit date, time window, address or notes you choose to share.

Why we ask

Only to prepare your preliminary estimate and arrange an on-site visit. We do not sell your details, share them with marketers, or use them for anything else. We never send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who sees them

Only Huetura — the person preparing your estimate and scheduling the visit. Your details are stored in our secure lead database (hosted by Supabase) and a backup copy is emailed to admin@huetura.com through our email service (Resend). Some of these providers may process your details on servers outside Canada. If a subcontractor ever needs your details to do the job, they sign a confidentiality agreement first. If a booking tool is connected later, it will be named here first.

Your photos

In the colour studio, your photo never leaves your device. It's painted on right in your browser and kept only there — never sent to us or anyone else. One detail, to be exact: the studio paints your original photo (it isn't resized first), so any location data inside the file stays with it — but the photo itself never leaves your browser. When you're done, remove the photo or just close the page; nothing is kept on our side.

Photos you add to an estimate request are optional, and they sometimes replace the on-site visit. They're resized on your device before they're sent (the resize also strips location data), used only to prepare your estimate, and deleted whenever you ask. Your details are stored in our lead database; the photos themselves travel as attachments on the backup email we receive — they aren't kept anywhere else. We never use your photos in our portfolio or marketing without your separate written permission.

The AI advisor

When you chat with the AI advisor or use the “AI sees your room” vision panel, what you type — and any room photo you share — is sent to Anthropic's API (a US company) so the advisor can generate its reply. Your photo is never stored: it is sent for the analysis and discarded, not kept in any database.

The only record we keep from an advisor session is a usage tally for cost monitoring: which tool was used (chat or vision), the language, and the estimated cost in US dollars. No message content, no photos, and no personal details are kept.

AI training

We never use your photos or your details to train AI models.

Cookies and tracking

We count anonymous one-word tallies — and nothing else. When you use the estimate or the colour studio, your browser tells our server things like “someone started an estimate” or “someone saw an error”. These are added up in bulk: no cookies, no personal data, no IP addresses, no record of who did what. Nobody can be identified from these numbers — they only tell us, in total, how the tools are being used.

We run no ad trackers. The site only stores a language-preference cookie, and keeps conveniences like your estimate progress in your browser's own storage so they don't have to be sent anywhere.

How long we keep them

For as long as your inquiry or job is active, and afterwards only as long as tax and business records require. Inquiries that don't become jobs are never kept longer than needed — once the conversation is closed, your details go with it, unless you ask us to keep them. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will.
