How the estimate works
From a few questions to a real range
- Answer a few questions
Rooms, surfaces, condition — about a minute, no account, no phone call.
- See your preliminary range
The same pricing engine behind every written estimate we issue — a real range, not a guess.
- We confirm it in person
The firm written price is set after sufficient photos or a free visit, with physical colour samples in your own light.
What helps us price accurately
- Room sizes, or a rough idea of the floor plan
- A few daylight photos of the rooms
- What's bothering you — scuffs, cracks, the old colour
- Your timeline — when you'd like it done
None of this is required — the form works without photos. But every detail you share narrows the range.
How we charge, in one paragraph
Written scope first. The approved scope price stays fixed — it only changes if you approve a written change. GST is added on top, and there is a $500 minimum job. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.
Before you ask
- How fast will I hear back?
- I paint during the day, so I reply the same evening — personally, always.
- What should I send with my request?
- A few photos of the rooms help me price faster — but they are not required.
- Is the estimate really free?
- Yes. The estimate is free, and so is the visit.
- Will I be pressured to request?
- No. You get a written price and a plan — the decision is entirely yours.
